In this blog I will share with you an overview of cat chakras. We will talk about what they are, and how they impact our cats health and wellbeing.

What are cat chakras?

Chakras are invisible energy centres that transmit energy between the cats physical body, its aura and it’s environment. They unite all levels of being for the cat. What cats feel, experience and are exposed to, will affect their chakras.

Chakra comes from the Sanskrit word for wheel and a chakra is a wheel of energy emanating from the physical body. A chakra is an energetic point in the body that allows energy to flow from the environment into the cat, and out from the physical body of the cat into its environment.

Each chakra stimulates a particular endocrine gland in the body to secrete a particular hormone. They are the very link between energy and matter, the spiritual and physical elements of the body.

What affects a chakra?

Chakras are mainly controlled by emotions which are affected by various internal factors, but can also be affected by external factors, such as the environment or human/animal relationships.

For example, if the cat feels stressed or threatened by something in their environment, they will unsettle or displace the energy in their root chakra (more on this below).

When a cat feels loved and connected to their human, they will increase the energy in their heart chakra.

Events and environment affect the cats emotions. The emotions impact their energy centres. The balance of the energy centres will influence the physical body. They are all connected.

When Pickle was really poorly, this was an indication she had an energy imbalance in one or more of her chakras. The blocked energy was manifesting as a physical symptom or issue.

This is why when our cats are poorly, medication alone won’t necessarily fix our cats or make them well again.

You know that I am a firm believer in veterinary care, we have a very close relationship with our vet. In order to offer your cat a holistic approach to health and wellbeing, we need to look at their energy as well as their physical body.

What chakras do cats have?

Cats have 7 major chakras:

✨ Root chakra

✨ Sacral chakra

✨ Solar Plexus chakra

✨ Heart chakra

✨ Throat chakra

✨ Third eye chakra

✨ Crown chakra

They also have micro chakras at every acupressure point, but that’s a topic for another day!

Each of the 7 main chakras are connected to particular parts of the body, endocrine gland, colour, frequency, sound, and element.

I’m currently writing a book about how to heal your cat using their chakras. If you’d like to know more and get updates about the book you can register your interest here: Cat Chakra book updates

What happens when the chakras get blocked?

Energy needs to flow, and when it gets stuck or isn’t flowing as well as it needs to, it creates issues. Blockages.

As I mentioned at the beginning of this blog, this can lead to physical issues and/or behavioural problems.

Here are a few examples of common problems I experience with my clients, and my own cats, that can be energy related:

Overgrooming – Blocked solar plexus or sacral chakra

Aggression – Underactive or blocked heart chakra

Anxiety – Closed heart chakra

Fear/hiding away – Ungrounded, over/under active root chakra

Overeating/appetite issues – Unbalanced solar plexus chakra

The state of the chakra and energy varies for each cat. Just like there are no two humans who have the same energy profile, this is true for our cats too.

How to help them heal

I love working with cats and their humans doing a Cat chakra cleanse and re-balance session because it gives the guardian the opportunity to understand what is happening with their cat.

People will usually come to me because they have problems with their cat and medication isn’t solving the issue. That’s because it is only working on the symptom, not necessarily the cause – blocked energy.

When I use my healer gifts to feel and sense each of the cat’s chakras, I can share with their cat mum or cat dad what is going on.

Where there is too much energy, or not enough. And just like tuning into a radio station, I can connect with the frequency of the cat to shift their energy and balance their chakras. And you can do it too, details of how will be in the new book!

In the meantime, if you are interested in learning more about your cats chakras and how they are impacted you can catch me live every Thursday at 8pm UK time on Instagram for Cat Chakra chat.

I have covered all of the 7 main chakras and the cats auric field already so you can head to my Instagram to watch the replays and learn more about each chakra.

Or if you are interested in experiencing a cat chakra cleanse and re-balance for your cat get in touch.
